Beechurst / Whitestone, Queens Overview

Beechhurst and it's bigger section Whitestone are residential neighborhood areas in Queens with a vocal community movement. As the name suggests, this area was once a former beech tree grove known for it's large limestone rock shoreline. Bordered by the Whitestone and Throgs Neck Bridges, this nabe is situated in the midst of the urban convenience of Queens. This residential area is located in the northern tip of Queens and is saddled with some manufacturing and commercial centers.
