Ann is the Founder and CEO of NabeWise Media. Ann began her career in 2002 at Corporate Executive Board(EXBD), where she helped deliver insightful, decision-critical content to Fortune 500 executives. Next, Ann joined Glocap Search as their Head of Sourcing, where she developed a system to reverse engineer company organizational charts using social media. Most recently, Ann consulted with Flavorpill, where she focused on strategy and marketing projects related to web analytics.
Ann’s background in content, along with her having moved over 30 times in her life, gave her the initial idea for NabeWise. In the last ten years she has lived in Boston, DC, Miami, LA, and she now lives in Hoboken, NJ and works in New York City. Ann loves the West Village, Flatiron, Nolita and Williamsburg
Ben Hughes is Director of Technology at NabeWise. Ben started programming when he was six years old. By high school he was mapping and visualizing CO2 and atmospheric particulate measurements (Ewing et al., 2008) at NASA Langley Research Center. Most recently, he led development at BigThink.com, an intellectual content site founded by former Charlie Rose producers. When Ben is not figuring out how to organize and classify the world's neighborhoods, he studies Computer Science at the University of Virginia and enjoys skiing and hiking.
Ben has spent time in Chicago, DC, Boston and New York (among others) and is particularly fond of Greenpoint and Williamsburg in Brooklyn.
Andy Kramolisch is a Senior Developer at NabeWise. Andy began programming BASIC in the 6th grade, and quickly moved on to more usable and maintainable things. Andy also worked at NASA Langley Research Center (with Ben) where his main project was mapping CO2 and O2 readings for the ASCENDS team. Most recently, Andy was a developer (again with Ben) at BigThink.com. When Andy is not figuring out how to make beautiful neighborhood heat maps faster, he spends his time keeping the bleeding edge version of NabeWise as technologically sophisticated and feature rich as possible. Andy studies Computer Science at the Engineering School of Virginia Tech.
Andy has spent time in New York, DC and Chicago and likes Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle in DC.
Andrea Mignolo is the Creative Director at NabeWise. Andrea has been designing for the web for over 10 years, and though her first site was built in Flash, she is a strong proponent of crafting sites with web standards and best practices in mind. She is a local leader for the New York branch of the Interaction Design Association and a member of the HTML5 working group. Andrea is passionate about creating compelling and meaningful experiences at the intersection of design and technology and is also interested in effective telepresence, augmented reality, and beer.
Andrea was born in Michigan and has lived in Chapel Hill, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Boulder, Mexico, Japan, and Canada. She recently relocated to New York and is living in Murray Hill, though she enjoys spending time in Brooklyn whenever she can.
