The neighborhood of Rochdale includes the residential cooperative of Rochdale Village. Rochdale Village is a twenty building residential cooperative and the country's second largest such development. Initially designed as a “city within a city,” and the initialUtopian vision remains an affordable option for families. The Long Island Railroad provides service at the Locust Manor Station with a host of buses also servicing the neighborhood and a number of parks.
