T-Express
T-Express is a wooden roller coaster located at Everland amusement park in Yogin, South Korea. It recently became the the worlds steepest roller coaster when it opened in may of 2008 by beating El Toro's record by 1 degree. It is also first south Korea's first wooden roller coaster. With a top speed of 104 Mph is is the ninth fastest roller coaster in the world.

The Voyage
The voyage is a hybrid roller coaster located at Holiday World in Santa Claus,, Indiana. It is hybrid because the track is wooden but it has a steel structure. It is the third longest wooden roller coaster in the world with a track of 6442 feet. The ride features three 90 degree backed turns and it won a Golden Ticket Award for Best new ride in 2006 and also won best wooden roller coaster in 2207 and 2008.
Mystery Mine
Mystery mine is a steel roller coaster located at Dolly-wood theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The ride features one of the largest angles of decent at 95 degrees and also features a heart line role and a dive loop. theme Park insider awarded mystery mine best new theme park attraction in 2007. The cost to construct Mystery mine was a staggering 17,500,000.
Silver Star
Silver star is a steel roller coaster located at Europa-Park in Rust Germany. With a height of 239 feet it is currently the tallest roller coaster in Europe. it has a staggering drop of 219 feet. this ride is not for the faint of heart with a max vertical angle of 67.5 degrees and a max speed of 78 miles per hour.
Texas Giant
Texas giant is a wooden roller coaster located at six flags over Texas in Arlington, Texas. When it opened in 1990 it had the highest lift of any wooden coaster in the world. It reaches a top height of 143 feet and the biggest drop is 137 feet. The Texas giant reaches a max speed of 62 MPH. In 1999 Texas Giant received a Golden Ticket Award for Best Wooden Roller Coaster in the world.
Mantis
mantis is a steel roller coaster located at Ceder point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. It hold numerous world records for stand up coaster including height (145 feet), speed (60 MPH), and total number of inversions with four. Mantis also features the worlds first ever inclined loop which is 83 feet tall. When it was first built is was supposed to be called banshee but Ceder point decided to change the name to mantis. All the t-shirts and other promotional items had to be recalled and destroyed.
Hoosier Hurricane
Hoosier Hurricane is a wooden roller coaster located at the Indiana Beach amusement park in Monticello, Indiana. When it was built in 1994 it became the first wooden roller coaster to be built in Indiana in over 50 years. It reaches a height of 77 feet and a top speed of 51 MPH. the ride goes along side of lake Shafer and runs parallel to the boardwalk.

Top Thrill Dragster
Top Thrill Dragster is a steel roller coaster located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It is actually defined as a stratacoaster which is a complete circuit coaster that is between 400 and 500 feet tall. The only other stratacoaster is the Kingda Ka. It has a huge drop of 400 feet so it’s not for the faint of heart. The coaster theme is the drag racing motor sport and many say it feels like there drag racing. The only drawback of this coaster it does not run in any precipitation what so ever due to safely concerns.
Xcelerator
Xcelerator is a steel roller coaster located at Knott’s berry Farm in Buena Park, California. It is the 9th fastest roller coaster in the world reaching top speeds of 82 mph. It takes only 2.3 seconds to reach this speed using an amazing 10,500 horsepower. Due to mostly rain and sometimes weight and outside temperature the roller coaster will not gain enough speed to make it over the initial 205 foot hill. If this happens the coaster will roll back down the track and the ride has to be reset.
Millennium Force
Millennium Force is a steel roller coaster located at cedar point Sandusky, Ohio. For a very brief period of time after its completion it was the tallest roller coaster but was quickly beaten by the Steel Dragon 2000. It was the first coaster to use a cable lift system instead of the traditional chain lift. Millennium Force has been voted number 1 steel coaster in the world 5 times since 2001. The coaster drops 300 feet at a speed of 93 miles per hour and takes just under 2 minutes to complete. Unfortunately for thrill seeking kids you have to 48 inches or taller to ride.
Thunder Dolphin
The Thunder Dolphin is a steel roller coaster located at LaQua amusement park in Tokyo, Japan. It is the fifth tallest roller coaster in the world reaching a height of 262 feet. The roller coaster has a track of over 3500 feet and travels through both a hole in a wall as well as a center less Ferris wheel and reaches a top speed of 88 mph. It has a max vertical angle of 80 degrees, and has a max drop of 218 feet.
Goliath
Goliath is a steel roller coaster located in the Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia California. Immediately following a 255 foot drop at speeds of 85 mph you enter a 120 foot tunnel. After the tunnel there is a sharp twist and high speed double helix, your picture is taken. Riders have complained that the G-forces have caused blackouts but they were able to recover by the end of the ride.
Behemoth
Behemoth is a steel roller coaster in wonderland located in Ontario, Canada. It is Canada’s tallest and fastest roller coaster. During the 3 minute ride you can see every ride in the entire amusement park. It reaches a height of 230 feet and a top speed of 77mph. After the first climb the coaster travels down a hill tilted to the right creating a brief period of weightlessness before traveling through a hammerhead turn.
Viper
Viper is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia California. It has the highest 360 degree loop 144 feet above the ground. With a drop of over 170 feet and 7 inversions it is the most popular ride in the park with over 1,700 riders an hour. When it opened people complained of headaches from the rattling of the coaster but the coaster today is now much smoother.
