Not to be mistaken with Murray Hill, Manhattan, this little neighborhood is located in Flushing, Queens. Once a largely home-owner nabe, you'll now find mostly renters of small homes and large apartments here. With great public transportation in the area, this neighborhood is great for those commuting to Midtown Manhattan.

more suburban pockets. The people moving in these days are mostly immigrants, and as in other parts of Queens, Murray Hill is known for issues with renters illegally crowding apartments. Sadly, many of the old Victorian homes that once reigned have been demolished for high rises, making the area more dense and less bucolic. However, the convenient public transportation here is a plus.Nina B.
Watch out for MS-13
MS-13 definitely has a hold on this neighborhood, but as with any violent group, stay away from them and don’t go out in the middle of the night. If safety is a huge concern, I’d stay away.
