i lived off the Q train for 4 yrs.. got gentrified out, not that that’s a bad thing, just saying. very quickly turned from gritty/gehto to small-town suburb. everyone congregates @ one culty cofee-shop, 2 restaurants, all on the same block. everything within a 2-block radious is super park-slopey, mildly pretentious, very family small children, etc. its cool if u live near the park, near botanical garden; not much shoping, but phat albert’s the sh*t! lots of fast food, lots of buses, short bus ride (one stop) to bk public library. marise

I moved to Prospect-Lefferts Garden from Manhattan and I’m very fond of the neighborhood. People are friendly, and its close to the park. There are really good Caribbean restaurants in the area and you can take the Q or the the B into Manhattan and be there within 35 minutes.Frank T
