Jamaica Hills surrounds the relatively large and beautiful Goose Pond. This quiet and serene nabe is composed mainly of co-op style housing, all well-maintained and regulated. Jamaica Hill is lucky enough to have an active civic group that works closely with local politicians. Getting to Manhattan is especially easy from this lovely suburb: hop on the subway or Long Island Rail Road or simply drive down Grand Central Parkway.
