Howard Beach, Queens

A waterfront neighborhood in southwestern Queens, Howard Beach is made up of spacious single-family homes and thus has a very suburban feel to it. Most New Yorkers know the name Howard Beach because it serves as an important transit hub: the spot where the A train connects to the JFK Airport's AirTrain.
